I just want Skulduggery Pleasant to end up with Fletcher and Ghastly being the only ones of the main cast left alive.
Like Flecther helped in the final battle, but then something happened, he was knocked out or something.
And he’s the only one still alive.
Or he’s told Val and Skulduggery are dead, and… the world dosen’t stop? Why dosen’t it stop? And people just get on with life.
Or Ghastly faces the choice of saving Tanith or saving many more lives.
And he dosen’t choose Tanith. And he just carries on. Saving lives, keeping an eye on the wildcards, making suits.
and the world keeps on turning.

Of kind of corsets worn underneath clothing for the body, there are simple ones for undergarments, and ornamented ones worn inside the home for relaxation. The latter type of corset also occasionally had sleeves attached. In France, the guild of tailors had been established since the medieval period, and their role was strictly regulated, and clothes-making was work of the man. Although women were given the ability to participate in clothes-making in 1675 (Diderot and D’Alembert, “Encyclopédie”, 1770-78) and female dressmakers (“couturière”) appeared, only male tailors were accepted as makers of men’s clothing and women’s court clothing, and corsets. Since a man’s strong strength were needed in order to stitch whalebones, especially corsets were limited to male tailors.
Which shows that Ghastly’s father being a tailor is actually pretty normal! (Obviously depending on what age theory you subscribe to, but chances are Skul, China and Ghastly are all in their 2/300s)
